Cad cutting is the process of precision cutting vinyl using a device (known as a plotter or cutter) which converts and cuts computer aided designs onto thin vinyl sheets. The excess vinyl is then weeded from the backing paper and tranfer tape is applied. The vinyl is applied by lifting it from the backing paper and applying it on a given suface. Common applications are banner and signs, window decorations, vehicle signage, indoor/outdoor signage, interior wall art decoration, etc.
